Summer Bishil (born June 15 15, 1985) is an American actress best known for playing Margo in The Magicians, a Syfy drama series based on a fantasy that ran between 2015 and present. Her role in the Alan Ball film Towelhead featured her as Jasira Maoun, who is a Lebanese American teen who has to confront a variety of personal issues in relation with the U.S. invasion of Iraq. In 2007 Variety listed her as one of the 10 actors-to-watch. The 2009 movie Crossing Over, in which she portrayed the powerful role of Taslima Jhangir, was nominated by the Independent Spirit Award as the most outstanding female lead. She also acted as a co-lead and in films like The Mooz-lum The Last Airbender Pop Star, Under the Silver Lake and a number of television guest roles.
